Initial Free Consultation
The process begins with a free, no-obligation meeting (often via phone or Zoom). This session helps both spouses understand the mediation process, clarify goals, and decide if it’s the right path forward.
Mediation with an Expert Specialist
A trained, neutral mediator—often with legal or family law experience—guides the couple through structured sessions. Key issues are addressed: property division, parenting plans, financial arrangements, support, and more. The mediator ensures both parties are heard and helps build practical, fair agreements.
Reaching an agreement
Once mutual decisions are reached, the mediator creates a written summary (commonly called a Memorandum of Understanding). This document outlines all agreed terms and can be reviewed by attorneys before filing with the court.
